Rainfall warning for northern Manitoba

Parts of northern Manitoba are under a rainfall warning Sunday morning.

The Churchill region could get up to 50 millimetres of rain Sunday and another 25 mm overnight. Heavier rainfall will be concentrated over inland areas, while areas along the Hudson Bay coast including the Town of Churchill will get only moderate amounts.

There's a chance of some more rain on Monday, but not significant amounts, Environment Canada said.

A fog advisory was also issued for Churchill and York. Dense fog with zero visibility dissipated Sunday morning as winds picked up.
