EAST TRACADIE, N.S. — Nova Scotia RCMP are investigating a suspicious fire that damaged a building containing lobster traps and travel trailers in East Tracadie.

The Mounties say they responded to a report of the fire on Wharf Road early Thursday.

They say a travel trailer caught on fire and was completely destroyed, and a nearby building containing 300 lobster traps and two other trailers were damaged as well.

The damage is estimated to be worth $150,000.

RCMP say they believe the fire was intentionally set and the travel trailer was targeted.

They are now looking for assistance in the investigation and anyone with information about the blaze is asked to contact RCMP.
