RCMP receive complaint about attempted child luring in Langenburg

The RCMP are warning people to be on the lookout after a man allegedly attempted to lure four young children in Langenburg, Sask.

The small community is about 200 kilometres east of Regina.

The children were walking to a park at about 4:30 p.m. CST Thursday when a man approached them in a minivan, Esterhazy RCMP report.

The man allegedly ordered the children to get into his vehicle, but they ran away, police said.

The man is described as Caucasian, "late aged" and with a medium build. He was wearing a red and black ball cap. He was driving a dirty red or burgundy minivan with a small Canadian flag attached to the roof above the windshield.
