Reba McEntire Is Coming Back to TV and All Is Right With the World

From Country Living

Honestly, 2020 is the year of Reba and we are here for it.

Reba McEntire has been on our radar nonstop since she hosted the CMA Awards. That rendition of “Fancy?" Iconic! Then she announced she was going on tour in the coming year, and we obviously rushed to buy our tickets ASAP because it’s going to be flawless.

Just when we thought we’d reached our cap of good Reba luck, she went and made another big announcement. The legendary country singer is coming back to TV for a limited time. We’ll give you a minute to let that sink in.

Unfortunately, we’re not getting a full-blown Reba reboot, though that is our lifetime dream. Instead, she will be guest starring on Young Sheldon. TVLine reported that she’s playing June, Dale Ballard’s (Craig T. Nelson) “fun and fiery” ex-wife.

You’re probably thinking, “OMG Melissa Peterman is sometimes on that show! Reba reunion!” While that is true, it’s already been confirmed that the two won’t cross paths. But at least they’re in the same neighborhood. Plus, Melissa has posted two photos with Reba in the past week so at least we have that going for us.

Though this appearances is the only one confirmed at the moment, CinemaBlend says there always could be more down the line. The comedy is so successful, and her storyline with Dale and Meemaw (Annie Potts) presents lots of future opportunities. And what show couldn’t use a little more Reba?
