The pop superstar often posts heartwarming messages on Instagram, but has lately taken to the plaltform to call out people who have wronged her over the course of her career spanning four decades.

Kim Kardashian: The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is no stranger to dominating tabloid headlines, and 2021 was no different. With a high-profile divorce from rap superstar Kanye West, to her surprisingly great turn as host of comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live, Kim Kardashian continues being top of mind for many Yahoo readers.

Alec Baldwin: The Oscar-nominated actor and Boss Baby voice — and most famous Baldwin brother — made headlines this year for a fatal shooting accident on the set of a movie called Rust. While Baldwin has said he is not responsibe for the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, the investigation continues into how a prop gun's ammunition could cause such a devastating loss.

Lady Gaga: The Oscar- and Grammy-winning singer bookended her 2021 with two major events. In January, she sang at the inauguration of U.S. President Joe Biden. In November — and well into December — she appeared and promoted the Ridley Scott film House of Gucci. Expect readers to go "gaga" for the multi-hyphenate throughout 2022 as her performance in the film generates major Oscar buzz. Brava!

Tanya Roberts: The year 2021 started with some tragedy as actress Tanya Roberts died on Jan. 4. Roberts was 71. The actress, perhaps best known for her recurring role on TV's That '70s Show, was also a Bond girl in A View to a Kill in 1985 and was cast on the final season of Charlie's Angels in 1980.

Elizabeth Hurley: The perennial Yahoo favourite had a quieter year, with only one acting credit to her name in 2021, but Elizabeth Hurley's Instagram account — with more than 2.2 million followers — was a constant source of amazement and amusement to our readers.

Jennifer Aniston: The entire cast of Friends was top-of-mind for fans of the sitcom this year as the sixsome reunited for an HBO special and walk down memory lane.
