Regina woman found with gunshot wounds in North Central neighbourhood dies in hospital

A Regina woman found in the North Central neighbourhood with gunshot wounds early Tuesday morning has died of her injuries.

Police said in a news release Friday morning that they are now investigating her death as the city's fifth homicide of the year.

The victim was found in the 1400 block of Argyle Street and rushed to hospital, where she died Friday morning.

There have been no arrests in her killing at this point. Police are asking anyone with information to call them or Crime Stoppers.

Police are also looking for video surveillance from the area where the woman was discovered.
