Remembrance Day 2020: Despite threat of COVID-19, ceremony honouring Canada's troops still has power

Under a cover of grey clouds, federal officials and veterans commemorated the sacrifices of Canadian war dead and veterans, and marked the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War under tight restrictions aimed at limiting the spread of the coronavirus. Global's Mercedes Stephenson was at the event in Ottawa this year, and reflected on the changes to this year's event - as well as the undeniable power and impact the ceremony still held.
