Residents Rescued After Several Killed in French Floods

Several people have been killed in flash flooding in France’s southern department of Aude, with reports of residents being swept away by fast-flowing floodwater on October 15.

A red alert has been put in place, with Meteo France warning of a major flood risk threatening the safety of people and property.
