4. Military Diet

If war movies have taught us anything, it’s that people in the military have seriously hot bods. The secret? According to the Military Diet: intermittent fasting. The Military Diet may only be a three days of the week diet, but those days will involve eating less calories than you typically would burn. The idea is that fasting changes the way the body works forcing your metabolism to speed up and burn more fat. It also incorporates foods like grapefruit, which kickstarts the liver and high protein foods like eggs and tuna, which use up more energy when they’re being consumed. While some may shudder at the idea of fasting, one of the biggest bonuses of the Military Diet is that it won’t cost you a cent. It’s just a basic set of guidelines that claims you will lose up to 10 pounds a week. (Photo: Tumblr/poormichelle)
