Ryan Tannehill
Team: Tennessee Titans
Position: Quarterback
Net worth: $50 million
After leading the Titans to the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs in 2021, Ryan Tannehill struggled in 2022, and his season ended early with an ankle injury. Entering the third year of a four-year, $118 million contract, the Titans could release Tannehill, 34, to save money. The final two seasons of his big deal are voidable, and he already has taken home $91 million in guaranteed money.

Julio Jones
Team: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Position: Wide receiver
Net worth: $50 million
Julio Jones, 34, signed a one-year, $6 million deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after two seasons with the Titans. Before that, Jones played 10 seasons for the Falcons, compiling $125 million of his $148 million in career earnings with Atlanta. He will be a free agent ahead of the 2023 season.
Jalen Ramsey
Team: Los Angeles Rams
Position: Cornerback
Net worth: $50 million
Jalen Ramsey, a linchpin of the defense for the Super Bowl-winning Rams in the 2021 season, is entering the fourth year of a five-year, $100 million deal. The 28-year-old has 19 interceptions in his seven-year career and is known for being a lockdown corner.
Matt Ryan
Team: Indianapolis Colts
Position: Quarterback
Net worth: $70 million
Matt Ryan played 14 seasons for the Atlanta Falcons, winning an MVP and taking the team to a Super Bowl, before being traded to the Indianapolis Colts. He has one season left on his five-year, $150 million deal, and after his unspectacular first season in Indianapolis, the Colts must decide whether to retain Ryan or release him to save some cash.
Kirk Cousins
Team: Minnesota Vikings
Position: Quarterback
Net worth: $70 million
Cousins, 34, signed a one-year, $35 million deal with the Vikings, after completing a fully guaranteed three-year, $84 million contract. He is due to become a free agent in 2024. He's one of the most accurate passers in the NFL, but has only won one postseason game in his 11-year career.
Ndamukong Suh
Team: Philadelphia Eagles
Position: Defensive tackle
Net worth: $80 million
After 12 NFL seasons, Ndamukong Suh was a free agent waiting for the right team to make him an offer. When the injuries on the defensive line started to pile up, the Eagles called Suh, and he signed a one-year, $2 million deal to join the team prior to Week 11 of the season. That brought his career earnings to $168 million with five teams. He'll be a free agent again heading into the 2023 season.
Joe Flacco
Team: New York Jets
Position: Quarterback
Net worth: $85 million
Joe Flacco, 38, played on a one-year, $3.5 million deal with the New York Jets in 2022, intended to serve as a backup and veteran presence for second-year QB Zach Wilson. With Wilson going through injuries and ineffectiveness, Flacco was forced into starting duty in four games.
The veteran played 11 seasons (2008-18) for the Baltimore Ravens, winning the 2013 Super Bowl and earning $147.8 million before bouncing around the NFL, with the Denver Broncos, Jets and Eagles.
Russell Wilson
Team: Denver Broncos
Position: Quarterback
Net worth: $165 million
Perhaps the biggest blockbuster move of the 2022 offseason was the Broncos' trade for Wilson with the Seattle Seahawks. He signed a five-year, $242 million extension with the Broncos, with $161 million guaranteed. But his first year in Denver was a flop, with Wilson, 34, posting career lows in completion percentage and touchdowns. New coach Sean Payton will be charged with returning Wilson to form.
Aaron Rodgers
Team: Green Bay Packers
Position: Quarterback
Net worth: $200 million
Rodgers, 39, won consecutive NFL MVPs in 2020 and 2021(four overall) and one Super Bowl with the Packers, and he signed a three-year, $150 million deal in the offseason after plenty of rumors that he might retire. Rodgers has thrown for a staggering 59,055 yards and 475 touchdowns in his career, but the talk swirling is that Rodgers could retire or be traded.
Tom Brady
Team: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Position: Quarterback
Net worth: $250 million
The GOAT (greatest of all time) on the field with a record seven Super Bowl championships, Brady is also the GOAT of net worths. Although he was known throughout his career for taking a little less money to allow his team to sign other talented players, he certainly has gotten his share. Brady earned $30 million in 2022 and compiled $333 million in career earnings before retiring on Feb. 1 after 23 seasons in the NFL.
In 2024, he will join Fox Sports as its lead game analyst, he announced. He signed a reported 10-year, $375 million contract with the network before the 2022 season, with Fox wanting to secure his services in advance of his retirement.
