Rita Ora has addressed her rumoured "feud" with Rihanna in an interview with Louis Theroux.

The Your Song singer is the latest celebrity to feature in the BBC Two series Louis Theroux Interviews, and when the pair sit down together in Tuesday's episode, viewers will see Ora clarify what really went on with Rihanna.

Both singers were signed to Jay Z's record label Roc Nation, but Ora took them to court in 2015 asking to be released from her contract early as she claimed she had been neglected by the label.

However, Roc Nation filed a counter claim for $2.3m (£1.9m), saying that Ora hadn't released enough music, before they eventually settled.

In their chat, Theroux asks Ora for her side of the story on why she wasn't releasing music at the label.

She says: "I don’t know. I was recording for two or three years straight. There was a whole moment that was about to happen, I recorded a music video and they scrapped it. I felt really disappointed like I’d let them down."

Theroux addresses the apparent row with Rihanna as he says: "It’s been reported that all the music was going to Rihanna – she was obviously the most established artist – she was getting first refusal on all the music and she’d sit on songs that had been written.

"Either way, the result was you couldn’t get a look at it and she had a problem with you."

Ora finally addresses the issue and confirms she has no problem with Rihanna as she says: "I can’t speak for other people but I think publicly they always put women against each other. I’ve been nothing but a fan and respectful of her and I always will be."

This is the final instalment in Theroux's most recent interview series, which has included episodes with Stormzy, Dame Judi Dench, Yungblud, Bear Grylls and Katherine Ryan.

Comedian Ryan hit headlines last week when she told Theroux she had publicly called out a fellow guest on a panel show a number of times about reports of him committing sexual assaults, but that it had all been edited out of the show that aired.

Although Ryan was not able to name the person she accused, she claimed that there was no question of the reports being true.

Louis Theroux Interviews Rita Ora airs on Tuesday at 9pm on BBC Two.
