Rob Ford speaks on Ontario small business program

Watch as Mayor Rob Ford announces the details of the city's participation in the provincial Starter Company program.

Ford will be with Coun. Michael Thompson, chair of the city's economic development committee, at Coalition Music in Scarborough for the announcement.

The program provides 18 to 29 year-olds with a grant of up to $5,000 to start, grow or buy a small business.

Ford will likely be asked about his own business dealings during the press conference. He has been questioned over potential lobbying efforts by companies close to his family's label business, Deco Tags & Labels.
