Robbie Williams to headline gig at Sandringham Estate

Robbie Williams is set to headline the first ever concert at the royal estate of Sandringham next year.

Festival organisers have said that the British pop legend will be joined by a number of yet to be announced special guests for the historic performance.

The concert will take place on 26 August, 2023 and will be Williams' only outdoor headline gig in the UK next year.

Promoter Giles Cooper said in a statement: “It’s been an ambition of us all at Heritage Live to stage a concert for the legendary Robbie Williams and the thing about Robbie is that he keeps getting better and better!

Williams has recently concluded a UK tour in support of his compilation album XXV which included an updated version of his classic hit Angels.

The album was a 25 year celebration of his solo career after leaving Take That in 1995. Since going solo, Williams has amassed a record 14 UK number one albums, sold over 85 million records and holds the record for most concert tickets sold in a day with 1.6 million.

Pre-sale tickets will be available from 9am on Thursday, 8 December and general on-sale tickets will be available from 9am on Friday, 9 December at www.axs.com/heritagelive.

This year, King Charles III will spend Christmas at Sandringham which is tradition. It will mark the first royal Christmas since the death of Queen Elizabeth II earlier this year.
