Rodeo and Agro-Expo are set to entertain and educate

·1 min read

This weekend, the Holstein area will be full of “shear” excitement as the sheep-shearing competition returns at the 2021 Agro-Expo and Rodeo.

Events are planned Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday until 9 p.m. at the event site near Holstein.

Confirmed for this year are the Antique Tractor show, Dog Trials, and the Weaving, Spinning, Sheep Shearing and Slack during the day.

If you are knowledgeable in farm machinery, farm dogs and know a good sheep-shearer when you see them, you will love this event.

If this is a new world to you, organizers are inviting you to come out and get some education in the “field.”

The Rawhide Rodeo will take place Saturday evening, Aug. 28.

Note: there is no public camping available at the site. More information is available at
