The Boyzone star, 44, posted a photo on Instagram of his little boy in a hospital bed wearing an oxygen mask. Another snap showed him sitting up and playing with an iPad.
Keating didn’t elaborate about his son’s condition, but said he and his wife Storm were "a mess".
Cooper, he said, had been “an absolute trooper”.

“Mum & Dad are a mess worried sick and he takes it in his stride.”
The singer added that he was “so incredibly grateful” to the staff at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, adding: “You guys rock.”
Keating also shared a picture of Cooper enjoying some messy play while sat in bed at the hospital, adding a crying with laughter emoji and quipping: “Never allowed to do this at home.”
Keating’s famous friends flocked to the comments section to express their support after he revealed Cooper was unwell.
