Despite a difficult year in business, Ross Beach is still doing what he can to give back to the community.

The owner of Rossco’s Pub is donating 500 meals to the Medicine Hat and District Food Bank this Holiday Season and says it is an important tradition for him.

“This year has been the toughest for me during my time in Medicine Hat,” he said. “Even though we’re going through hardships, there’s always a family in need that is worse off than we are.

“If I am given an opportunity to give, I will do it as long as I am here.”

The 500 meals is made up of 290 turkey dinners and 210 ham meals.

“This is my fourth year doing this,” said Beach. “All of the meals are cooked in house and we are just happy to help out.”

Beach donates hundreds of meals throughout the year around Thanksgiving, Easter and other Holidays.
