Route 350 reopens after hourslong closure due to winter weather, disabled vehicles
The first snowfall of the season caused some problems on central Pennsylvania roads, with part of Route 350 closed Friday afternoon.
Route 350 was closed in both directions before 1 p.m. Friday from Philipsburg to the intersection with South Eagle Valley Road in Bald Eagle, Blair County, according to the state Department of Transportation.
It reopened at about 5 p.m.
On Facebook, the Mountain Top Fire Company in Sandy Ridge wrote that there were multiple stuck trucks and cars off the road on Route 350.
Centre County was under a winter weather advisory until 4 p.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service. Two to four inches of snow from the first snowfall of the season were predicted.
