Royal Family Gives Sneak Peek Inside Windsor Castle Dining Room (Where Princess Beatrice’s Wedding Gown Now Lives)

The royals have treated us to an unofficial tour of Windsor Castle's State Dining Room and it's just as luxurious as you'd expect.

Princess Beatrice recently paid a visit to the royal residence to see her Norman Hartnell wedding gown, which now serves as a centerpiece in the State Dining Room's display. Alongside the glittery dress, which was borrowed from Queen Elizabeth, we see Princess Beatrice's Valentino shoes and a replica of her bouquet, which is made from artificial flowers.

However, Queen Mary's fringe tiara (the one that Beatrice wore when she said "I do") was not included in the exhibit.

In the photo from the royal family, in addition to the stunning display, we see the eye-catching color scheme, featuring red carpeting with matching red and gold curtains. The dining room also features ornate walls and ceilings with a stylish marble fireplace, a small clock and a large portrait to add to the room's elegant decor.

Princess Beatrice revisited her wedding gown just two months after she secretly tied the knot with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a small ceremony. And as of now, the dress exhibit is open to the public.

If you recall, the same gown was previously worn by Queen Elizabeth on three occasions.

After wearing it to a state dinner at the British Embassy in Rome in 1961, she wore it again at the London premiere of Lawrence of Arabia in 1962 and again for the State Opening of Parliament in London in 1966.

Clearly, good style runs in the royal family.
