The former New York City mayor and current attorney to President Donald Trump was caught in a compromising position in Sacha Baron Cohen's new film, which is a follow-up to 2006's hit mockumentary Borat. According to those at EW who have seen the film, the scene in question appears to show Giuliani reaching into his pants and touching himself while laying on a bed in the company of Borat's (Cohen) daughter, who is posing as a right-wing TV journalist. The encounter happens after she interviews Giuliani and invites him back to the hotel, where hidden cameras catch the moment. The encounter ends when Borat bursts in and declares, "She's 15! She's too old for you." (The actress, Maria Bakalova, is 24.)

Giuliani offered his explanation for the compromising scene on Wednesday. "The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment," he wrote on Twitter after details about the sequence broke.

He added, "At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar."

In a string of subsequent tweets, the politico claims the entire brouhaha "is an effort to blunt my relentless exposure of the criminality and depravity of Joe Biden and his entire family."

The new mockumentary sees the titular reporter being sent once again to the U.S., this time to present a bribe to a Trump ally in order for his home country of Kazakhstan to get in the good graces of the Trump administration.

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan hits Amazon Prime Video on Friday.
