Runners can compete against Sir Mo Farah in a virtual race this weekend.

The British Olympic champion is to set off on the Isorunclub’s second 10-mile race from his home.

Runners can take on a route of their choice anywhere in the world.

Sir Mo Farah said the run is an “exciting” way to race in “our ever-changing modern times..and the runners plot their own route, and can run it alone or within social distancing guidelines.”

The funds raised from the event, which is taking place on September 26, will go towards Papyrus charity - a nationwide suicide prevention organisation for young people.

Isorunclub’s first event in early June welcomed 700 runners from 13 different countries.
