Rupert Murdoch's Paris tweet sparks Twitter outrage, fueled by Aziz Ansari
'You are Catholic, why are you not hunting pedophiles?' the comedian tweets
Rupert Murdoch's controversial tweet about who bears responsibility for last week's massacre in Paris has sparked plenty of outrage on Twitter, where comedian Aziz Ansari led the barrage with a series of blistering responses.
"Maybe most Moslems peaceful," Murdoch wrote on Twitter after the deadly attack by Islamic militant gunmen on the offices of satirical French newspaper Charlie Hebdo, "but until they recognize and destroy their growing jihadist cancer they must be held responsible."

"Are you responsible for the evil s--- all Christians do or just the insane amount of evil you yourself contribute to?" Ansari tweeted in a reply he shared with his nearly 5 million followers.
.@rupertmurdoch Rups can we get a step by step guide? How can my 60 year old parents in NC help destroy terrorist groups? Plz advise.

The star of NBC's "Parks and Recreation" even mockingly blamed Murdoch for the murder of John Lennon.
.@rupertmurdoch is Christian just like Mark David Chapman who shot John Lennon. Why didn't Rupert stop it? #RupertsFault

Not surprisingly, the hashtag #RupertsFault quickly began trending in the United States, with Ansari and other Americans gleefully chiming in on what Murdoch should be blamed for.

Ansari continued to troll Murdoch.
To be clear, I am not religious and have nothing against Christians or Muslims, just ignorance like what @rupertmurdoch is spreading.

Ansari wasn't alone. "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling was also among those to condemn Murdoch on Twitter.
I was born Christian. If that makes Rupert Murdoch my responsibility, I'll auto-excommunicate. http://t.co/Atw1wNk8UX

On Monday's "Daily Show," Jon Stewart mocked Murdoch's "Moslem" remarks.
"His Excellency from the Republic of Media Conglomistad," Stewart said. "He has spoke-tweeted."
Stewart continued: "Moderate Muslims, until you have completely wiped Islamic extremists from this earth, this s---'s on you."
Murdoch, for his part, has not apologized.
Big jihadist danger looming everywhere from Philippines to Africa to Europe to US.Political correctness makes for denial and hypocrisy.

However, he did offer his thoughts on Ahmed Merabet, the Muslim police officer killed in the Jan. 7 attack.
Extraordinary scenes in Paris today, but do not forget the heroic sacrifice of Ahmed Merabet, Muslim police officer whose funeral was today.

Ansari's response?
"Quit back peddling you racist piece of s---," he tweeted.
