NBA free agency is heating up, and along with that comes the scorching takes on where the top players will end up. Over the last few days, we’ve heard conjecture and commentary from various sources including landing spots for Kawhi Leonard, LeBron James and Paul George. Our own Jared Quay caught up with a few of his “sources” to see if he could beat the seasoned journalists at their own game.
Meanwhile, at the World Cup, a curious tiebreaker rule has sent Japan through to the round of 16. Despite earning the same number of points as Senegal, the Samurai Blue will reach the next round thanks to earning fewer yellow cards in the group stage. This was the first time a team has ever been knocked out via fair play points. Japan will take on Belgium in the next round.
