Russia hits Mykolaiv with ballistic missiles, injuring 8

An explosion was heard in Mykolaiv on March 27 with Mayor Oleksandr Senkevich confirming that Russia had hit the city with ballistic missiles.

The Air Force reported earlier a threat of ballistic missile attacks from the east.

Eight civilians were injured, one of them is in serious condition.

There is also minor damage to four residential buildings: mostly broken windows in apartments.

Russia attacked Mykolaiv and a number of other southern regions of Ukraine with Shaheds overnight on March 24-25. The attack damaged a two-story building in the city, injuring at least 11 people, three of whom were hospitalized.
