Ryan Reynolds Hilariously Trolled Emilia Clarke Over Their Shared Birthday

Ryan Reynolds has officially declared that October 23 is his birthday, not Emilia Clarke's.

It all started when the Canadian actor's production company, Maximum Effort Productions, wished Clarke a happy birthday on Twitter before sending him a birthday message. So, in typical Ryan Reynolds fashion, the Deadpool star used the opportunity to troll the Game of Thrones alum—a.k.a. his birthday rival—and announce that he does not want to share his special day with anyone this year.

Reynolds responded to the tweet, writing, "So sorry. I moved her birthday this year. It was feeling a little crowded for me.” (Um, who's going to tell him Miguel, Amandla Stenberg, Deacon Phillippe, Ireland Baldwin, and DJ Khaled's son also celebrate their birthday on October 23?)

Reynolds even kindly offered Clark a brand-new birthday date: “Excited to announce February 29th as Emilia’s new birthday. Congratulations!” Very interesting choice considering the date is the leap year day.

Considering Clark hasn't tweeted since 2013, it seems unlikely she'll entertain Reynolds's hilarious antics (though he also shared his tweets on Instagram Stories). Either way, it looks like the actor is way too busy to respond as she celebrated her birthday this year by jumping out of an airplane for the very first time.

The newly turned 34-year-old shared a series of snaps via Instagram after she went skydiving in England with her mom. “What could match the profound existential terror of another birthday?” she captioned the post. “Jumping out of a goddamn plane is what.”

Clark also gave her GoT character a quick shout-out, adding the hashtag “Who says you can only fly dragons?” before calling the moment the “most exhilarating experience of my life!”

Happy birthday to Ryan Reynolds and Emilia Clark (and everyone else who's born on October 23)!
