Rylan Clark-Neal squashes Eamonn Holmes during lap dance on This Morning

Eamonn Holmes was squashed by Rylan Clark-Neal as he was treated to a lap dance on This Morning.

Clark-Neal draped himself on top of Holmes, 57, as he mimed along to Steps’ new hit, Scared of the Dark.

The 28-year-old was discussing his upcoming showbiz segment when Holmes said: “Rylan is just beside himself today.”

The former X Factor star said: “I am beside myself. I couldn’t tell you, or care, what’s on my showbiz cards today because Steps are in the building, come on.”

He then whipped out a microphone and signalled to show bosses to play the pop group’s new single.

Clark-Neal proceeded to recline on Holmes as he mimed along and kicked his legs in the air.

Holmes was rendered speechless before breaking into fits of laughter.

Viewers found the skit entertaining with one tweeting: “Rylan cracks me up.”

Another posted: “OMG!! @Rylan is something else!”

Others feared for Holmes' safety with one tweeting: “Poor Eamonn getting pushed out of the way by an excited Rylan.”

Another wrote: “I hope Eamonn's hips were OK.”

Clark-Neal came face-to-face with Steps when they performed on the show and was cheering wildly as they wrapped up their set.
