Sacramento is cooling down after 100-degree heat. When will temperatures drop the lowest?
Sacramento is heading into a steady cooldown this week after multiple days of scorching triple-digit temperatures.
According to the National Weather Service’s weekly forecast, temperatures in the capital region are expected to drop into the low 80s by the weekend.

Monday will kick off the week in Sacramento with sunny and hot weather with winds up to 6 mph, according to the National Weather Service’s seven-day forecast.
The high temperature will be near 97 degrees with a low temperature around 59 degrees.
It’ll be mostly sunny for the rest of the week.
Tuesday is expected to see a high near 85 with a low around 58.
Wednesday’s high will be near 87 and its low will be near 59.
The high for Thursday will be expected around 86 and the low will be near 58.
On Friday, the high will be forecast around 90 with a low near 60.
The high for Saturday will be near 87, and Sunday will have a high of about 82.
