Saint-André man, 19, dies in off-road vehicle crash

A 19-year-old man died Saturday morning after crashing an off-road vehicle just outside of Grand Falls, N.B.

The man from Saint-André died at the scene on Route 255, RCMP say in a news release.

Saint-Léonard RCMP and Ambulance New Brunswick responded to call at 6.44 a.m.

"The crash is believed to have occurred when the side-by-side went off a cliff and landed in a gravel pit," the release said. "The driver and sole occupant of the side-by-side died at the scene as a result of his injuries."

An investigation is underway.
