Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott have shared some loved-up photos from their holiday.

The former Made in Chelsea and Love Island stars took to Instagram on Sunday (August 4) to jointly post a smiling selfie of themselves during a trip to Ibiza. The couple have been joined on their holiday by Sam's sister Louise and her fiancé Ryan Libbey.

The caption aptly read: "Holiday", alongside a red heart emoji.

Fans quickly took to the comments section to share their excitement at the new image of the couple, amid recent claims that they had split up.

"That's the picture we want to see," wrote one fan, with another adding: "Looking fabulous, enjoy every moment Sam and Zara."

A third commented: "Great to see you both together, it's been a while!!" while a fourth said: "You are soooo cute together."

Another fan echoed the sentiment: "Such a beautiful couple. You both are very much soulmates."

Zara also took to her Stories to share a fun video of Sam in the pool as he tried to beat a record for holding his breath underwater.

"'Let's go on holiday,' he said. 'It'll be fun,' he said. This my reality," said Zara as she held a stopwatch by the pool. "He's made me do this three times now, this is the third time."

News of the couple's holiday comes after Sam shared an update on his relationship with Zara. The pair had been subject to speculation over potential marriage plans after heading off to Dubai together, with some fans convinced that Sam would pop the question.

Responding to the rumours, Sam confirmed that wasn't the case – though did reveal that "marriage is on the cards at some point".

"Zara just really wanted to get away so it wasn't like one of those really special on-one-knee places," he told OK! magazine in March. "I probably wouldn't do it in Dubai anyway to be fair. But it was an amazing trip."

Sam added: "One day I shall be getting down on one knee to propose. Marriage is on the cards at some point, yes."

Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
