Samuel Smith Empowering Kids to Aim for the Sky

NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / September 30, 2020 / Samuel Smith has experienced all that the world has to offer, and its intricacies believe that the best time to empower children is from an early age.

He has a profound love for the arts, and he has some notable film credits to his name such as Godfather of Harlem, See you Yesterday, Shades of Blue, House of Cards, The Inspectors, Daredevil, The Blacklist, Leftovers, Person of Interest, Uptown Girls, The Good Wife, The Sopranos and Law, and Order: CI. Some of his stage performances include The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity (at New York's Second Stage), The Brother Size, Camp Logan August in April, and The Diary of Black Men. He has a BA degree in Theatre Arts from the Alabama State University and earned an M.F.A in Theatre Arts from Brandeis University.

Apart from his love for the arts, he also loved imparting knowledge, which informed his decision to take up a teaching job after graduating from college. He taught Theatre arts to school children in New York, and this was the point where he realized that instilling confidence in anyone should start as early as possible. Samuel Smith enjoyed working with the children so much that he started a company solely to teach children how to communicate and live their lives with confidence brimming through them. He wanted to do things on his terms outside what the school curriculum could cover, and he started a non-profit called Bridge Builder Camp to actualize his goals. His non-profit organizes after-school and summer-enrichment programs where children learn and get empowered.

His foray into Hollywood and scoring many roles in movies have given him more reasons to pursue his cause of filling the world with confident and empowered children. He is also a mindfulness and meditation instructor at the NYC public school system. He also mentors at the "My Brother's Keeper Men's Group" In Brooklyn, New York.

Everything he does is all about making other people feel good. He does the job of entertaining through acting, and he helps people relax their minds and bodies. Whether it is children, young adults battling with confidence, or athletes of any skill level trying to stay in the best form, Samuel Smith takes these cases seriously. He is someone who always gets the job done no matter what, and from his days as a student, he never had all he needed to get things done, but somehow he always got by. This is why he is committed to empowering other people with the same level of tenacity and strong will.

Building the Samuel Smith brand was intentional for him. He went all out with the intention of becoming successful in entertainment. And as soon as he did that, he decided to prepare other children for the opportunities that await them in the world. When asked about what motivated him to build his brand, he says, "As an artist, I am my brand. The things I do with my MBK mentees, the way I dress, how I speak are all a part of the brand of Samuel Smith. I own a few businesses like Samuel Leon Leather and Better Than Perfect athletics as well as the upcoming Samuel Leon men's suit line. I do not have to be just an artist and entertainer, but it's also very important to own and create opportunities and wealth for yourself and your family."

He hopes to continue his work in the next five years, become an even bigger actor, and get even more people to adopt mindfulness and meditation in combating mental health. His commitment to greatness is his biggest quality, and he wants everyone to get inspired by that.
