Sandwich town's post office resurrected

The mail slots are gone, but the old Sandwich post office will once again open its doors to the public Saturday.

New owners have completely overhauled the empty historic building and transformed it into a modern coffee shop.

Post Cafe puts a new stamp in the heart of Windsor's oldest community with its sleek, white furniture and contemporary decor.

Co-owner Luna Wang said she and her partners gladly took the challenge of restoring the post office building that sat empty for three years.

"We love this place. We really love this place," she said. "For this building, we really wanted to do something [special]. It's a huge venture for us. I think this is going to be a good place for students around the university."
