Sarah Hyland Got a Line From 'Hair' Tattooed on Her Rib Cage
Ariel Winter isn't the only Modern Family star sporting some new ink.
Sarah Hyland revealed on Tuesday that after performing in Adam Shankman's production of Hair at the Hollywood Bowl in August 2014, she got a line from the musical tattooed on her rib cage. In lowercase cursive, the message reads: "Follow my heartbeat."

"Got this tattoo by the amazing @_dr_woo_ this past January, but since it's been exactly two years since I was with my #hairtribe at the #hollywoodbowl, I figured it would be nice to finally post it," she shared. "Thank you @adamshankman for changing my life and helping me know that all I need is within me. #selflove"

This isn't Hyland's first tattoo. Just months after she started dating Vampire Academy actor Dominic Sherwood in 2015, the two decided to get matching tats. The 25-year-old actress got an arrow on her back while Sherwood, 26, chose to get an arrow inked on his left arm.

The couple has only gotten closer since getting their tattoos, and that was evident when ET caught up with them in February. "Sarah makes me want to be a better version of myself," Sherwood said of his girlfriend. "That's what I love most about her. She inspires me to be the best version of me."
