SaskTel outage planned in some Sask. communities early Thursday

SaskTel customers in several Saskatchewan communities aren't going to have access to phone or internet services for about an hour early Thursday morning due to a planned outage.

The telecommunications company said the service outage, which starts at 1 a.m. CST, will impact landlines, cell service, high-speed internet and data services.

The hour-long outage is happening in order to make repairs to a damaged cable.

Affected communities:

- Arlington Beach

- Assiniboine reserve

- Balgonie

- Broadview

- Edgeley

- Glenavon

- Grenfell

- Indian Head

- Kennedy

- Kipling

- Kirkella, Man.

- Maryfield

- McLean

- Moosomin

- Oakshela

- Percival

- Qu'Appelle

- Red Jacket

- Sakimay reserve

- Sintaluta

- St. Joseph's Colony

- Wawota

- Wapella

- Whitewood

- Windthorst

- Wolseley

SaskTel said in Moosomin, Broadview and Indian Head, only landline services will be affected.
