Calling all fans of Schitt's Creek. The series creators just dropped the news we've been waiting dreading to hear: The Canadian comedy has officially been renewed for its sixth, but also its final, season. (Way to take the wind out of our sails, right?)

The show, which follows the wacky adventures of the Rose family, who are forced to relocate to Schitt's Creek after getting busted for tax evasion and losing all their money, has been a vibrant part of our lives for the last five seasons. In other words, we're definitely not ready to see it go.

The show's creators, Daniel Levy and Eugene Levy announced the news and thanked their fans on Twitter. “We are so grateful to have been given the time and creative freedom to tell this story in its totality, concluding with a final chapter that we had envisioned from the very beginning,” they said.

As for spilling any spoilers for the final installment, which is set to air in 2020, mum's the word—but we do know it will be a 14-episode season.

The time to clear out your DVR is now.
