Scott Mills, 50, mistaken for husband's dad on Celebrity Race Across the World
Scott Mills and Sam Vaughan have 16 years between them
What did you miss?
Scott Mills was mistaken for his husband's dad when they competed on Celebrity Race Across the World.
This week, the celebrities were racing from the beach town of Canoa Quebrada through the north east region of Brazil to their second checkpoint, Lençóis, the gateway to the sprawling Chapada Diamantina National Park. They are still a long way off the final checkpoint in Frutillar in southern Chile.
It's only episode two and the age difference between Mills and Vaughan was already brought to the attention of the cameras. At the time of filming, Mills was 50 and Vaughan was 34 so there is 16 years between the couple. However, they proved that this wasn't a big issue for them.

What, how and why?
It was briefly awkward on Celebrity Race Across the World when a local bringing the couple to a job asked them the question: "He is your father?"
The awkwardness only lasted for a split second as Mills and Vaughan burst out laughing loudly. The then-engaged couple had given the local her answer in the form of their laughter.
Mills tried to reassure the local so she didn't feel bad about the mistake. The radio personality admitted they are often seen as brothers, rather than as a romantic couple. Shrugging it off, Mills quipped that dad was a new name to add to the list.
After the loud laughter, the BBC star told her: "You weren't to know my darling. We normally get brothers. Dad, that's a new one on me."
In a piece to camera, Mills addressed reaching the milestone of 50 and the BBC Radio 2 star confessed he was "in denial" about it. "I am in a bit of denial about my age, not going to lie," he said. "I don't know what I'm supposed to feel like. Hashtag nifty at fifty. Everyone is like aren't your knees starting to creak? no I don't know what you mean."
With the topic of reaching 50, of course, there comes the age difference between him and his now husband. In fact, for them, the couple don't ever really think about it. Mills said they suit each other because neither of them are really true to their age in spirit.
He said: "I forget there is an age difference between me and Sam. It's never been a thing that we... We don't think about it. He's a bit old for his years, I'm a bit young for mine so it meets in the middle."
What else happened on Celebrity Race Across the World?
Mills and Vaughan had fallen to last place as they failed to reach the checkpoint at the end of the episode. The DJ finally faced his fears of an overnight bus and it was the worst he could have imagined as there was a toilet overflowing with a suspicious looking brown liquid.

"I wasn't going to mention it because there are other people here on the bus," said Mills. "But oooh."
Vaughan questioned: "Is it making you cry?" Mills nodded his head. Vaughan explained the situation: "Basically the toilet is overflowing with a liquid that is a brown colour. The swishing back and forth."
Mills interjected to say: "That's enough please." Then it cut to the stop where it looked like the brown liquid from the toilet was spilling out of the bus door. "I feel deflated," admitted Mills.
