Sculpture donated to Walkerton Legion

WALKERTON – Debbie Eidt is familiar with the work of Minto artist Andy Pridham of “Weathered Design and Fabrication” whose work graces the Legion hall in Harriston.

Eidt commissioned a work to “draw attention to Remembrance Day,” she said. Everyone’s having a rough time this year, she said, and she wanted to do something special for the local Legion.

On Wednesday, Nov. 4, Eidt and her grandson met with Legion representatives at the hall in Walkerton to donate the piece.

It’s a dramatic piece, in black and red, and was on display during Saturday evening’s veterans’ dinner.

Pridham works in metal and wood, creating unique items that can be seen throughout Minto and beyond.
