Search and rescue teams are still searching for a special needs woman who went missing Thursday afternoon near Sasamat Lake in Port Moody, B.C.

Joy Zhang, 21, was at the lake for a group outing when she went missing with her friend, another special needs woman. Officials said both have the mental capacity of 10-year-olds.

The second woman was found by searchers late on Thursday night, but by early Friday morning Zhang had still not been found.

Searchers say they are hoping she spent the night sleeping and they will be able to find her in the daylight.
