See Kristen Stewart in Princess Diana's Wedding Dress in First Full Spencer Trailer
Kristen Stewart's "spooky, spiritual feelings" on the set of Spencer seem to have paid off handsomely, because she's channeled Princess Diana to a tee.
In the first full official trailer for the biopic on the late princess, Stewart can be seen for the first time in a replication of Diana's wedding dress in what could be a flashback or a dream sequence. The film, directed by Pablo Larraín, takes place in 1991, during a Christmas holiday during which Diana decides to end her marriage to Prince Charles.
Stewart recently gave an interview during which she said she felt Princess Diana's presence on set while filming the movie, telling the L.A. Times, "I felt some spooky, spiritual feelings making this movie. I felt like there were moments where I kind of got the sign-off."
"It's scary to tell a story about someone who's not alive anymore and who already felt so invaded," she said. "I never wanted to feel like we were invading anything, just that we were kind of adding to the multiplicity of a beautiful thing."

Stewart is also getting the sign-off from critics, who have hailed her performance in the film following its premiere. She received a three-minute standing ovation at the film's Venice debut, and has been named by Variety as a possible Oscar contender for her role.
