Selena Gomez Wore Two Dramatically Different LBDs Within Hours at TIFF — See Photos

Selena Gomez has been all about the LBD at the Toronto International Film Festival. The actor and Rare Beauty founder is there to promote her movie Emilia Pérez, and she wore not one but two different takes on the classic little black dress during the festival, including the fluffiest feather dress.
Gomez attended the TIFF Tribute Awards with her costars Zoe Saldaña and Karla Sofía Gascón, wearing a black midi-length dress with a high collar and fluffy black feathers at the collar, cuffs, and hem of the dress by Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello. Because the dress was so dramatic, she wore her hair pulled back in a low bun.
Not too long after, Gomez shifted vibes dramatically with a long-sleeved black Anine Bing Adeline minidress, tights, and slingback pumps.
All-black is a smart choice for busy occasions since it goes with everything and you don't have to worry about stains — not to mention that it always looks chic and sophisticated with a touch of edge, just like Gomez's TV alter ego Mabel from Only Murders in the Building. And speaking of Mabel, Gomez donned another gorgeous LBD for the premiere of the Hulu series, shimmering in a knee-length black halter dress.

Feathers have popped up in Gomez's wardrobe before. In 2019, she wore a glamorous, low-cut black feathered Celine dress for the premiere of The Dead Don't Die. Way back in 2016, she hit the red carpet in feathered sandals for an afterparty. Adding feathers to your outfit is so much fun; it's flirty, it's fabulous, it's a little bit vintage-inspired, and it always makes a statement. If you need outfit inspo for an upcoming dance, date, girls' night, or literally anything else on your agenda, take a cue from Selena Gomez and pair an LBD with some fun feathers. Totally foolproof!
