A Brand New Agent Will Star On ‘Selling Sunset’ Season 5
Netflix's hit real estate reality series Selling Sunset is coming back for season 5.
New episodes premiere in just a few weeks.

Netflix's opulent reality show chronicles the (sometimes dramatic) lives of the real estate agents of The Oppenheim Group in West Hollywood. And even though season 4 just dropped in November, season 5 premieres next month.
Here’s everything you need to know about the brand new episodes that are coming your way *so* soon.
Season 5 premieres on April 22.
Netflix confirmed that Selling Sunset season 5 will drop on Friday, April 22, per Us Weekly. Excellent news for real estate, design, and fashion enthusiasts around the world!
All your faves are coming back.
According to Netflix, joining the Oppenheim brothers are Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn, Mary Fitzgerald (plus her husband Romain Bonnet), Heather Rae Young, Amanza Smith, Maya Vander, and Davina Potratz.
And, based on the season's latest promo, newbies Emma Hernan and Vanessa Villela will be back for more, too.
Plus, a new cast member will make her debut.
There's another new agent on the block! Chelsea Lazkani will join the show, Netflix revealed in March. Chelsea is a British-Nigerian realtor who recently got her license in 2017 after climbing the corporate ladder, per People. She originally sold homes for Rodeo Realty (where Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Josh Flagg used to work).
Chelsea eventually took a break from the business to focus on the two children she shares with husband Jeff Lazkani. Now, she's getting back in the game.
And, she's more than ready to join the Oppenheim Group. "I saw this as an opportunity to really open doors in an industry that has lacked diversity and where minorities are underrated," Chelsea told People. "This was kind of my time to give back and to educate and really mentor and push forward Black women in this luxury sector in real estate."
The new season will be viewers’ first look at Jason and Chrishell’s relationship.
Season 5 will focus on the brief relationship between Jason Oppenheim and Chrishell. The two dated for around six months, between summer and December 2021. While it might sound awkward that Jason now has two exes in the office (he also dated Mary), it seems like the pair are still on good terms.
"Jason was and is my best friend, and other than our ideas for family ultimately not being aligned, the amount of respect and love we have for each other will not change going forward,” Chrishell explained on Instagram right after the breakup, per Page Six.
"Well, you’re definitely going to see a relationship divide, that you wouldn’t expect and things that have happened where it’s just shocking," Mary told Metro about how much viewers will get to see in season 5.
"Without giving away too much, it’s hard to, it’s hard to say—to explain it. But it’s gonna be pretty shocking to see some of the things that have happened. I think Jason and Chrishell came out with their relationship in between seasons four and five. So, you won’t see that on season four, but you will in season five." Hmmm...
The cast heads to Greece and Italy.
Chrishell and Jason infamously went IG official while vacationing in Capri, Italy with Brett, his boo (who really looks like a tatted-up Mary, no?), Mary, and Romaine. Chrishell iconically captioned the announcement, “the JLo effect,” a nod to the popstar’s glorious yacht photo announcement of the rekindling of Bennifer.
But it seems more of the cast jetted off to Greece to meet up with Heather and Amanza after the announcement. Christine is noticeably absent from all of this. Safe to say she is on the outs with this crew, though she is still filming.
"I'm soooo tired of addressing this. I am in every single episode of season 4 and 5 of Selling Sunset. The girls leave me out of photos. I have real work to do besides sit on my phone and prove 24/7 that I’m filming a TV show. Y'all going to see me," she Tweeted, according to Us Weekly.
What else will go down in season 5?
Since season 4, Heather has tied the knot with HGTV star Tarek El Moussa, so some of their wedding footage might appear on Selling Sunset. (It's also worth noting that Christine was not invited to the celebration, per Us Weekly—yikes.)
Meanwhile, Maya has since started her own real estate agency, the Maya Vander Group. But a source revealed to Us Weekly that Maya still sells homes for the Oppenheim Group, too, and continues to split her time between California and Florida.
And, Vanessa confirmed that she'll be missing from the first half of the season after she came down with COVID. “Out of 11 weeks of filming, I was sick for five,” she told Page Six. “I got COVID in August and we started filming right in that moment, so obviously they couldn’t wait for me.”
Mary also teased some shocking scenes: “Oh, there's two surprises, [but] I can't say what they are,” she said, per Us Weekly. “There's something else to do with me and there's another surprise with somebody else. [It’s] a reason to watch season 5 because both of those are gonna be really big deals.”
