Senator calls for government compensation for survivors of forced or coerced sterilization

Speaking Thursday at an announcement unveiling the Senate Committee on Human Rights’ report on forced or coerced sterilization, Sen. Yvonne Boyer called for a government compensation package for those women who have survived the procedure. She said compensation should focus on the generational impact of forced sterilization.
