If there's one thing that is guaranteed to spark joy it's an easy-going Netflix comedy, perfect for when we need something light-hearted to relax with. Well, it looks like Netflix's newest high school comedy is the perfect thing for a lazy afternoon on the sofa, and according to fans the new Rebel Wilson film is pretty much guaranteed to bring back the same memories for viewers.

The film follows high schooler Stephanie (Rebel Wilson) who wakes up from a 20 year coma after a cheer-leading stunt goes wrong to find the world has moved on a tad. Now 37 and just a *little* lost, she heads back to high school to try and pick up where she left off.

Even though the film only just landed on Netflix it's already causing a lot of chatter on Twitter, with people saying that it feels like we've gone back in time to the era of techincally-terrible-but-absolutely-incredible high school films of the noughties, complete with cheesy jokes, killer soundtracks and general good vibes.

While some people pointed out that the film falls short of the sophistication we see in cinema now, for others, that is basically what made it so good. For these fans it brought back memories of, 17 Again, She's The Man and 13 Going on 30, and people are very into it.

If this means we might be getting a noughties high school comedy resurgence we are *so* in. Duh.
