On a near-nightly basis this season, Serge Ibaka has been one of the most impressive and consistent members of the Toronto Raptors on both ends of the floor.
And on Saturday night in Chicago, the big man put his offensive touch on display as he threw down a massive dunk over Jabari Parker in Toronto’s 39-point rout of the Bulls.
Very, very impressive:
Unfortunately for Parker, he couldn’t get over quick enough to foil Ibaka’s effort and, for that, was posterized immediately by Toronto’s power forward. That was one absolutely ferocious slam.
And perhaps Ibaka’s dunk was fueled by some frustration? Heading into Saturday’s contest against the Bulls, the Raptors had lost three straight games, including a pair of close defeats to the Boston Celtics and the Detroit Pistons — who just happen to be led by former Toronto bench boss Dwane Casey.
Chicago was certainly on the receiving end of the brunt of the Raptors’ anger on this night and were dealt a one-sided, 122-83 loss as Toronto snapped its losing skid while earning its most lopsided road victory in franchise history.
