Sevilla couldn't stop Lionel Messi, so it tried to pull down his shorts (Video)

Lionel Messi was in magnificent form for Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey final on Saturday. And when Lionel Messi is in magnificent form, he is in unstoppable form.

So unstoppable that Sevilla had to go to extraordinary measures to try to quell him. One of those measures?

The slow-motion replay makes for a wonderful GIF:

Messi’s dummy was slick. Sevilla’s Sergio Escudero earned a yellow card for the cynical maneuver. He probably would have seen red if the play had occurred closer to goal, or if there weren’t a covering defender.

But Messi still had his way with Sevilla. He had a goal and two assists in a 5-0 Barcelona victory. The Copa Del Rey title was its fourth in a row, and Messi’s sixth overall.
