The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer is looking to document Hurricane Helene’s impact on the Muscogee County area — and we’re hoping you can help.

We’re asking our readers to share their photos of the storm before, during and after it passed through the Columbus area. Helene hit the area overnight Thursday into Friday as a Category 1 hurricane before it reduced to a tropical storm.

Forecasters warned extensive damage was possible, though Columbus had less serious harm than other regions of Georgia.
