In between Green, 50, and Burgess’ hands, four little hands were placed together, seemingly belonging to the couple’s children — including their first child together, Zane Walker, 14 months. Journey River, 7, Bodhi Ransom, 9, and Noah Shannon, 11, whom Green shares with ex-wife Megan Fox, appear to be participating as well. Green also shares son Kassius, 21, with ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil.

As the video continued, a spoken poem played in the background. Burgess commented on her post, “Thank you to @whitneyhansonpoetry for this incredible poem that makes describes beautifully this perfect steady and strong love of ours ♥️.”

The audio clip included the poet reciting her original words: “They say that sometimes love starts with a spark / And that might be true / But if I were to wish you a love / I wouldn't wish fire for you / You see, fire is powerful / It burns bright and it's gone / It's beautiful and warm but it doesn't matter.”

The audio continued, “So instead of wishing you a love that burns I wish you love like a river that twists and turns / It changes and flows is powerful and free / That it consistently finds its way back to this / And so like the water I hope your love is ever growing, ever-changing / I hope your love is powerful and free / And may you always find each other like the river finds the sea.”

The couple initially made their announcement during Friday's episode of the iHeartRadio podcast Oldish. Burgess shared with Oldish host Randy Spelling that they have been engaged for two months. In the podcast, the couple explained that the engagement ring was presented in a Cartier box.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum explained he popped the question during a surprise birthday party Burgess hosted in June, noting how it was “the perfect place to do it." Burgess revealed she "never saw it coming."

While Green felt they didn’t need to share their news via social media, chalking it up to a generational gap, the couple had a “healthy” conversation about how to approach sharing their news with the world.

"One day, I said to him, 'I just don't love that this is what we're talking about,' " Burgess revealed on the podcast. "I would rather live in our engagement and enjoy that instead of obsessing over what the right way to do this is. The right way will present itself when it's meant to."
