The Sturgeon Falls and Verner arenas are scheduled to re-open January 4, 2022.

For those 12 and older, proof of full vaccination against Covid-19 is required upon entry. A QR code is necessary.

Once in, note that the capacity for the arena will be at 50 per cent to comply with provincial regulations.

Food and drink will not be allowed inside arenas.

As for the Community and Recreation Centre, that re-opens on Monday, January 10.

No walk-ins will be allowed, and anyone planning on a swimming or training session must be pre-registered.

Registrations will open at 8 a.m. on Friday, January 7th.

For information on the programs offered, call the recreation centre at 705-753-0160. This number will also connect you to the Sturgeon Falls Arena and Verner arena.

Outdoor rinks remain closed although the goal is to reopen them this weekend, weather permitting.

As per provincial regulations, a maximum of 20 people are permitted on the ice at once.
