Shawn Mendes Traveled All the Way to England to Spend Valentine’s Day With Camila Cabello

Shawn Mendes began his and Camila Cabello's first Valentine's Day with a big, grand gesture—the kind you'd expect from a couple young, rich, in love, and happy to show it.

Mendes flew to England just so he could spend the day with Cabello, who's filming Sony's new Cinderella film in London. She's playing Cinderella. And Mendes was a real Prince Charming during his visit. The two didn't post any details on social media, but paparazzi captured parts of their day.

Mendes was photographed early in the day in London, picking up flowers and chocolates like many other men last-minute shopping for their partners. Then at night, he and Cabello were photographed out together for the first time since the Grammys. They were all dressed up for the dinner date they had at The Fat Duck restaurant in Bray, Berkshire—about an hour outside of the city. The restaurant has three Michelin stars, so the meal was luxurious and fancy.

Cabello wore a strapless blue print dress with white sandal heels and a black jacket. Mendes, meanwhile, was in a fully black outfit: He wore a velvety button-up shirt with dark pants and shoes. The two showed off a little PDA in front of the photographers, with Cabello holding Mendes' arm. It's not quite a Mendes-Cabello dinner date makeout, but it's still sweet.

Cabello and Mendes didn't share Valentine's Day tributes to each other on Instagram. But Cabello has been documenting her first days shooting Cinderella. "Some of the wonderful Cinderella cast 🇬🇧 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕also confirmed: MULLED WINE IS COZE IN A CUP," she captioned one cast shot she shared four days before Mendes joined her in England for the Valentine's Day date.

Mendes, for his own part, just wrapped his last tour up on December 21 and hasn't announced any new projects yet. His last Instagram post was from Grammys night.
