Tropical storm warnings were in place for the Texas and Louisiana coasts on Saturday, September 19, as Beta moved through the Gulf of Mexico, bringing dangerous storm surge.

Footage posted to Twitter by Robert Phillips shows conditions on Saturday. Phillips, a ship engineer, told Storyful he filmed this footage approximately 65 miles south-southwest of Port Fourchon, Louisiana, at around 1 pm on Saturday. He said he uploaded the footage to Twitter a day later, once back on shore.
