Singaporean boxer Muhammad Ridhwan stays unbeaten to win title

Singaporean boxer Muhammad Ridhwan remains unbeaten in his professional career after beating Namibia’s Nataneal Sebastian to win the International International Boxing Organisation (IBO) international super featherweight (58.97kg) title.

The victory was the ninth of the 29-year-old’s career, which was achieved in 12 rounds at the Roar of Singapore III main event held at the Suntec Convention Centre on Friday (20 October).

It is also Ridhwan’s second title victory of his career. In May, he had knocked out Tanzanian World Boxing Association (WBA) Pan African champion Fadhili Majiha in four rounds to win the Universal Boxing Organisation (UBO) world super-featherweight crown. He also has three SEA Games bronze medals to his name.
