Sir John Franklin High School evacuated due to bomb threat
Yellowknife RCMP say no explosive device was found at Sir John Franklin High School this afternoon, following a report of a bomb threat.
Police say the threat was received this afternoon shortly after 1 p.m.
The school was evacuated and students were sent to nearby St. Patrick High School.
RCMP say conveying false information with intent to injure or alarm is a criminal offence, and is punishable by up to two years in prison.
